Perineal hernia repair using polypropylene mesh in three female Jaffarabadi buffaloes - a short communication

چکیده

This study reports a rare unilateral perineal hernia in three mature female Jaffarabadi buffaloes. The buffaloes presented with swelling lateral to the vulvar lip. Upon palpation, was painless, soft and reducible. Ultrasonography revealed hyperechoic sac containing urinary bladder or motile intestine, homogenous hypoechoic contents. repaired using polypropylene mesh after repositioning of retroflexed and/or large intestine. clinical outcome, including postoperative complications recurrence, found via periodic examination telephone calls. No were observed for 6 months follow-up all had excellent outcomes.
